[Characteristics of coronary syndrome manifestation in patients with coexisting atherosclerosis and peptic ulcer].

In the article we discuss problem of the coexisting ulcers of stomach and duodenum in patients with atherosclerosis on the coronary syndrome, depending on the localization of the ulcer. We have been revealed that worsening of the peptic ulcer causes increasing of the ischemia episodes and intensity of the cardiac rhythm disorders. Localization of the ulcers in the stomach has significant influence on algesic ischemia and postprandial ischemia, duodenal localization increasing night ischemia.

[Prevalence of undiagnosed celiac disease in patients with irritated bowel syndrome].

In the article insufficiency of existing patterns of investigation of patients with irritated bowel syndrome (IBS) during differential diagnostics with celiac disease is underlined, that leads to wrong diagnostics and inefficient treatment of patients. Also own data on prevalence of celiac disease in patients with IBS are shown. Determination of the level of specific markers of celiac disease (in our research--antigliadin Ig) is considered to be the optimal method of diagnostic celiac disease in this group of patients.

[Helicobacter pylori prevalence among patients with gastroduodenal diseases in Kiev].

It is for the first time in Ukraine that a study has been made on the epidemiology of H. pylori infection among patients with disorders of the stomach and duodenum.
