Ballistocardiogram studies compared with an analysis of the left-ventricular systole in patients with stage II hypertension.

Studies were made on Bcg changes in 46 patients suffering from hypertensive disease stage II. These were compared to the phase changes in the systole of the left ventricle. It was established that more substantial phase changes in the systole of the left ventricle corresponded to a higher degree of changes in the Bcg.
