[Analysis of the questionnaire design in evaluation of patients with hypertensive disease].

The authors questionnaired 103 patients with hypertensive disease using 30 questions with simplified system of answers. The analysis showed that rural patients with hypertensive disease had their disease diagnosed during two years since the disease started only in 6% of cases. 36% of patients do not have an apparatus to measure blood pressure.

[Effect of physical activity on spectral analysis indices of the heart rhythm in patients with stage II hypertension disease].

The authors aimed at studying wave structure of the heart rhythm of patients with II stage hypertension disease without and with physical activity. 72 patients with II stage hypertension disease (47 men and 33 women) have been observed. [Effect of antianginal therapy on lipid peroxidation in patients with ischemic heart disease].

Measurement of the blood lipid peroxidation products (lipid hydroperoxides, dienic ketones, and malonic dialdehyde) was carried out in 26 patients with stable angina of effort and in 31 patient with postinfarction cardiosclerosis with due regard for the ejection fraction (intact, reduced) before treatments administration and after institution of antianginal therapy (nitrates, beta-adrenoblockers, nifedipine). The antianginal therapy has been shown to have but insignificant effect on both blood plasma contents of dienic ketones and plasma/erythrocyte content of malonic dialdehyde, which fact is regarded as an indication for use of antioxidant agents.
