MANAGEMENT OF EMOTIONAL DISORDERS IN ELDERLY PATIENTS UNDERGOING SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PROXIMAL FEMORAL FRACTURES.

The goal of our research was to study the to identify key aspects of the management of emotional disorders in the practice of operative treatment of proximal femoral fractures in elderly patients. The study was conducted with 24 patients who needed surgical treatment of proximal femoral fracture and were at risk for the development of psycho-emotional disorders due to the presence of emotional disorders of an anxiety-depressive nature were examined. The presence of such disorders was recorded at the time of admission, before and after surgical treatment using specialized psychodiagnostic techniques.

LACTOSE TOLERANCE AND RISK OF MULTIFACTORIAL DISEASES ON THE EXAMPLE OF GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT AND BONE TISSUEPATHOLOGIES.

Metabolism changes play a key role in many mammalian diseases such as decreasing bone mineral density, osteoporosis, digestive disorders. Lactose intolerance is found in 75% of the in human world's population. The aim of this study was evaluation of the genetic aspects of lactase deficiency in different ethnic groups and its relation with pathologies of bone tissue and gastrointestinal tract.

[Surgical treatment of habitual dislocation of the shoulder].

In the article is presented the analysis of treatment of 32 patients with shoulder joint instability. There have been studied the outcomes of treatment after the arm "suspension" operations, interventions at the anterior region of an articulation, derotational osteotomies of an arm. There have been considered the problems of etiopathogenesis of shoulder joint instability.

[Use of rod compression-distraction device in multiple fractures and associated lesions].

The authors have analysed the application of external rod fixatives in treatment of 47 victims with multiple fractures and associated damages of the locomotor system. They indicate the expediency of application of these fixative in case of rendering of the urgent medical aid because the execution of urgent stable osteosynthesis reduces the number of complications and contributes to getting of good anatomical and functional results of treatment.
