Recruitment and expansion of rare precursor B cells in germinal centers (GCs) is a central goal of vaccination to generate broadly neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs) against challenging pathogens such as HIV. Multivalent immunogen display is a well-established method to enhance vaccine-induced B cell responses, typically accomplished by using natural or engineered protein scaffolds. However, these scaffolds themselves are targets of antibody responses, with the potential to generate competitor scaffold-specific B cells that could theoretically limit expansion and maturation of "on-target" B cells in the GC response.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) predominately affects women with a ratio of females-to-males of about 9:1. The complement of sex chromosomes may play and important role in the mechanism of the sex bias. Previous work has shown that men with Klinefleter's syndrome (47,XXY) as well as women with 47,XXX are found in excess among SLE patients well as among Sjogren's disease, systemic sclerosis and idiopathic inflammatory myositis.

Importance: Accountable care organizations (ACOs) under the Medicare Shared Savings Program have long been envisioned as a pathway to improved care efficiency and quality of care for all Medicare beneficiaries. However, little is known about whether the changes in health care spending associated with ACOs have extended beyond ACO-attributed Medicare beneficiaries to all Medicare beneficiaries.

Objective: To estimate spending changes by non-ACO-attributed Medicare beneficiaries after moving to geographic areas with greater ACO participation.

Background: In our population-based study, we examine the impact of patient demographics on disease presentation, treatment and survival for children, adolescents, and young adults with osteosarcoma.

Methods: Patient data was downloaded from The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database. Cases included patients ages 0-24 years who were diagnosed with osteosarcoma between 2004 and 2020.

Purpose: Education is important for lifelong skills and economic growth; however, student placement decisions may be shaped by social biases. As genomic information captured via polygenic scores becomes more available, it may also inform student placement decisions. We assessed the intersectional effects of polygenic scores, race, disability, and socioeconomic status on US adults' views of educational trajectories using an online experimental survey design.
