[The improved differential diagnosis and pathogenetic therapy of initial forms of cerebrovascular disorders].

The authors investigated methods of current differential diagnosis and pathogenetic therapy in 368 patients with initial forms of cerebrovascular pathology. These were methods allowing to elucidate the mechanisms of development of cerebrovascular pathology, the degree of decompensation and to control treatment efficacy. The differences in the course of treatment are shown depending on the etiology, sex.

[Effect of intranatal asphyxia on the pattern of psychomotor development of children up to 7 years of age].

The paper is concerned with the psychophysical development of 460 children born in asphyxia of varying gravity. The establishment of psychomotor functions was traced over time, since the moment of birth to 7 years. The highest rate of complications was diagnosed in children aged 6-7 years.

[Functional analysis of the cerebral circulatory system and cerebrospinal fluid dynamics in meningitis in children].

To study the cerebral circulation and the course of the cerebrospinal fluid changes in the acute period of the disease and during follow-up in 131 patients with meningitis the authors have used ultrasonic methods of examination, diaphanoscopy and color ophthalmoscopy. Recommendations are provided on how to use the proposed complex for the diagnosis, treatment and early prophylaxis of meningitis complications.

[Characteristics of cerebral blood flow in children with cerebral palsy during the dynamics of treatment].

Using methods of circulatory radioencephalography and encephaloscintigraphy the authors identified changes in the parameters of the cerebral blood flow (CBF) in 103 patients with childhood cerebral paralysis. Depending on predominant disorders of the CBF in the microcirculatory, arterial or venous systems, vasoactive drugs administered for hemodynamic correction were used differentially.
