Background: Vasectomy is a safe and effective contraceptive option available to men, yet the practice is very low. The study aimed to assess the knowledge and willingness to accept vasectomy as a method of family planning among male married workers in a university in Enugu, Nigeria.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted among 405 male married workers in a tertiary institution in Enugu, Nigeria.

The purpose of this study is to describe a surgical technique and report the functional outcome of treating nonarteritic central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) in 2 eyes of two consecutive male patients. Two males (A) and (B) presented 6 days and few hours, respectively, after symptom onset with the clinical features typical of CRAO, including sudden severe deterioration of vision to counting fingers and a cherry-red spot in the left and right fovea, respectively. While A had been on recent treatment for hypertension and hyperlipidemia, B had no significant medical history.

Ficus exasperata have been reported to have wide applications in the treatment of many human diseases. However, its traditional use in the treatment of wounds has not been validated by any scientific study. Also, its safety in the management of chronic disease conditions requires attention.
