[To the 70th anniversary of the 39th separate medical troop (Airmobile) of Air Force].

On December, 18th, 2014 it is 70 years from the date of creation 39 separate medical troop (aeromobile) of the Air force. The history of troop goes to the Great Patriotic War, when it was organized the 234th separate health battalion, The battalion has passed a fighting way as a part of 106 Guards shooting division from Hungary up to Austria. In the postwar period military personnels of the troop took the active participation in medical maintenance of soldiers-commandos in many local confrontations with the participation of Soviet, and after the Russian Army.

[Evaluation of condition and factors affecting activity effectiveness and visual performance of pilots who use night vision goggles during the helicopter flights].

According to analysis of questionnaire authors revealed factors, which affect activity effectiveness, and visual performance of pilots who use night vision goggles during the helicopter flights. These are: difficulty of flight tasks, flying conditions, illusion of attitude. Authors gave possible ways to reduce an impact of these factors.

Modeling technique of capacitive discharge pumping of metal vapor lasers for electrode capacitance optimization.

To estimate optimum gas discharge tube (GDT) electrode capacitance of metal vapor lasers (MVLs) pumped by a longitudinal capacitive discharge, we offer to use series connection of capacitors to the electrodes of a conventionally pumped GDT with inner electrodes. It has been demonstrated that the maximum output power in CuBr lasers is obtained when the capacitances of high-voltage and ground electrodes are equal. When using a model circuit an average output power reaches 12 W that suggests the possibility of generating high average output power (>10 W) in MVLs pumped using a capacitive discharge.

[Sanitary-and-epidemiologic examination of the food-products].

Some aspects of sanitary and epidemiologic examination of food products are considered. The examination is an important part of sanitary and epidemiologic control and surveillance in the sphere of food safety and quality, consumer rights protection, consumer market and human welfare.

[Role of physiological factors in prognosis of the risk of oncological diseases development on the basis of xenobiotic metabolism enzyme system polymorphism].

Summarised data about polymorphism of xenobiotic metabolism enzyme system (XMES) have been presented. Metabolic molecular mechanisms and the role of genetic polymorphism in metabolic transformation of different xenobiotics are reviewed. Significance of X-transport proteins and nuclear receptors in regulation of XMES-activity are discussed.
