[Surgical treatment of perforated ulcer of the stomach and duodenum].

The results of treatment of 188 patients with a perforative gastric and duodenal ulcer whithin the period of from 1981 to 1990 have been analysed.

["Autohemoblock" in the treatment of lumbosacral pain syndromes].

A total of 125 patients with vertebrogenic lumbosacral radiculities and lumbar ischialgias (in many cases they were prolonged) were treated by the authors' original technique of the intra- and subcutaneous injection of autoblood in the projection of 3 pain points or (in the absence of their accentuation) in predetermined points. The treatment was effective in 83.9% of the patients including many in whom the previous treatment with other methods showed poor response.

[Intravenous novocaine block in the treatment of vertebrogenic sclerotomic and myotomic pain].

The authors treated 60 patients with vertebrogenic lumbosacral radiculitis and lumboischialgias accompanied by sclerotomic and myotomic pain. Intravenous procaine blockades of the legs were used for this purpose. Improvement was achieved in the majority of patients.
