A total of 125 patients with vertebrogenic lumbosacral radiculities and lumbar ischialgias (in many cases they were prolonged) were treated by the authors' original technique of the intra- and subcutaneous injection of autoblood in the projection of 3 pain points or (in the absence of their accentuation) in predetermined points. The treatment was effective in 83.9% of the patients including many in whom the previous treatment with other methods showed poor response.

The authors treated 60 patients with vertebrogenic lumbosacral radiculitis and lumboischialgias accompanied by sclerotomic and myotomic pain. Intravenous procaine blockades of the legs were used for this purpose. Improvement was achieved in the majority of patients.
