Spin valves with a synthetic antiferromagnet were fabricated via magnetron sputtering. It was shown that the fabricated spin valve layers had a perfect microstructure and smooth interfaces, and therefore, an RKKY interaction dominated in the coupling of the ferromagnetic layers separated by a copper spacer. Rhombus-shaped micro-objects were fabricated from a single spin valve film.

Evidence suggests that higher testosterone levels may provide an athletic advantage. Therefore, it is of practical interest to examine the association between testosterone levels and power- and strength-related traits in young professional track and field athletes, and to consider the factors that determine testosterone levels. The study involved 68 young professional athletes (45 females, 17.

The results of the study of the influence of Fe segregation into the unintentionally doped GaN channel layer in AlGaN/AlN/GaN heterostructures with Fe-doped GaN buffer layer on the electrical properties of two-dimensional electron gas are presented. A set of several samples was grown by metal-organic vapor-phase epitaxy and characterized by the van der Pauw method. The dependence of concentration and mobility of the two-dimensional electron gas on the channel layer thickness was analyzed theoretically by self-consistent solving of 1D Poisson and Schrödinger equations and scattering rate calculations within the momentum relaxation time approximation.

The study describes an analytical model of laser beam scattering on an inhomogeneous ensemble of erythrocytes. The model takes into account erythrocyte variation in size, shape, and spatial orientation. A relationship is established between an experimentally determined parameter: visibility of the diffraction pattern, and a characteristic serving as a measure of inhomogeneity of erythrocyte size and shape in a blood specimen.

Unlabelled: Aim of this study was to develop and apply an ELISA method for assessment of the levels of endogenous antibodies against benzo[a]pyrene (Bp) in blood sera of lung cancer (LC) patients.

Materials And Methods: ELISA was developed and applied for the detection of endogenous idiotypic and anti-idiotypic antibodies against Bp in human blood sera using recombinant human idiotypic and anti-idiotypic antibodies against Bp.

Results: Serum samples of LC patients (n = 22) and healthy donors (n = 24) were analyzed by the new method.
