Aging is a complex process associated with multimorbidity. Hypertension, one of widespread states, is among main causes of age-related alterations in behavior, emotionality and sociability. We studied the effects of long-term isolated housing on anxiety, depressive-like and social behavior as well as changes in the adrenocortical and sympathetic systems in the aging normotensive Wistar Kyoto (WKY) and spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR).

Aged spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs) represent a suitable model of age-related vascular brain diseases. The aim of this study was to explore the effects of chronic isolation stress in aging SHRs on their cognitive functions and response to acute stress, as well as the influence of the chronic oral intake of N-Pep-Zn, the Zn derivative of N-PEP-12.

In ring-opening polymerization of cyclic esters, the rational design of the catalyst is generally applied to solve this problem by the equalization of the reactivities of comonomers-however, it often leads to a reduction of catalytic activity. In the present paper, we studied the catalytic behavior of BnOH-activated complexes (ВНТ)Mg(THF)Bu (), (ВНТ)AlMe () and [(ВНТ)ZnEt] (), based on 2,6-di--butyl-4-methylphenol (BHT-H) in homo- and copolymerization of -lactide (LA) and ε-caprolactone (εCL).

The speed of reprogramming technologies evolution is rising dramatically in modern science. Both the scientific community and health workers depend on such developments due to the lack of safe autogenic cells and tissues for regenerative medicine, genome editing tools and reliable screening techniques. To perform experiments efficiently and to propel the fundamental science it is important to keep up with novel modifications and techniques that are being discovered almost weekly.

In this study, the sera from patients with tree and weed pollen allergies in the Moscow region were examined. The levels of IL-4, IL-5, IL-9, IL-10, IL-13, IL-17A, IFNγ, TNFα, and TNFβ cytokines were determined in the sera of patients with specific IgE antibodies to Bet v 1 and Pru p 3 allergens.
