[The efficacy of the transcutaneous magnetic-laser irradiation of the blood in acute salpingo-oophoritis].

The effect of including transcutaneous low-intensity magnetic-laser radiation of blood in combined antiinflammatory therapy of salpingo-oophoritis was studied. This physiotherapy stimulates phagocytic activity of neutrophilic leukocytes of the peripheral blood, promotes faster normalization of enzymatic and non-enzymatic systems of these cells.

[Experience with the use of the CO2 laser in surgical operations of the renal parenchyma].

The CO2 laser was used successfully for surgery in 43 nephrologic patients. Surgical operations, making use of the CO2 laser take less time than those using conventional techniques, while the damage to renal parenchyma is not so great and the surgical field is dry owing to the sealing of the vessels.
