A comparative study of the effect of a sorbent with nanotubes (AlO@ WCNT-PDMS) and a carbon-mineral sorbent (AlO@C) on the parameters of human erythrocytes was carried out. Using scanning flow cytometry, the morphological and functional parameters of venous blood erythrocytes as well as drainage blood after its perfusion through columns with sorbents were determined. The compared samples AlO@SWCNT-PDMS and AlO@C are similar by their effect on the morphological and functional parameters of erythrocytes.

Effect of potable water with low content of heavy stable isotopes of oxygen and hydrogen on body mass and hematopoiesis was studied in intact laboratory animals. Outbred CD-I and first generation hybrid (CBA*C57B)F1 mice exhibited a statistical acceleration of body mass gain as a result of drinking rectified light-isotopic water with ppm 35; stimulating effect was noticed with respect to peripheral blood parameters and condition of the hematopoietic organs. The parameters under study did not go beyond boundaries of the physiological norm.

We suggest a new theoretical method of the flow cytometry DNA histograms and apply it for Drosophila melanogaster imaginal discs cells. The model gives a possibility to determine the proportions of cells in G1, G2 (M) and S cell cycle phases. We show that the precision of G1 and G2 (M) DNA content measurements is limited by the precision of device zero signal arrangement.

Immunological parameters in different periods of acute radiation syndrome (ARS) of experimental animals and Chernobyl reactor accident-injured patients have been studied. 148 patients and experimental animals (123 dogs and 198 monkeys) were observed after radiation exposure of different levels (from a sub-lethal dose to the minimal absolute lethal dose). We have found the increase in the C-reactive protein, fluctuation of normal antibody titers and the complement in blood serum, as well as the growing number of skin microbes after exposures to lethal doses.

Aim: To comparatively analyze the toxicity of 4 treatment protocols in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), which were used in the Russian multicenter center in 1992 to 2009.

Materials And Methods: The information obtained in 4 Russian multicenter studies conducted in 33 hematology departments of 26 cities and towns of the Russian Federation in 1992 to 2009 was analyzed. Randomization was made in 243 patients with AML (median age 38 years) in 1992-1995, 396 patients (median age 39 years) in 1995-1999, 392 patients (median age 39 years) in 2001-2006, and 137 patients (median age 40 years) in 2006-2009.
