Co-crystallization is an elegant technique to tune the physical properties of crystalline solids. In the field of energetic materials, co-crystallization is currently playing an important role in the engineering of crystals with improved performance. Here, based on an analysis of the structural features of the green primary explosive, tetramethylammonium salt of 7-oxo-5-(trinitromethyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrotetrazolo[1,5-a][1,3,5]triazin-5-ide (), a co-former such as the powerful secondary explosive, benzotrifuroxan (BTF, ), has been proposed to improve it.

Ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T), or Louis-Bar syndrome, is a rare neurodegenerative disorder associated with immunodeficiency. For families with at least one affected child, timely A-T genotyping during any subsequent pregnancy allows the parents to make an informed decision about whether to continue to term when the fetus is affected. Mutations in the gene, which is 150 kb long, give rise to A-T; more than 600 pathogenic variants in have been characterized since 1990 and new mutations continue to be discovered annually.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to establish maternal contribution to false positive noninvasive prenatal DNA screening (NIPS) results and develop the method to distinguish maternal and fetal origin of high-risk monosomy X NIPS calls including mosaic maternal cases.

Method: A total of 906 women carrying singleton pregnancies have been recruited. Maternal plasma DNA semiconductor massive parallel sequencing was performed to detect common aneuploidies.

Aim: To study the effects of F(ab')2 fragments of the monoclonal antibody (monAB) FRaMon against glycoproteins (GP) IIb-IIIa on platelet aggregating activity in vitro and after injection to healthy volunteers.

Material And Methods: In vitro experiments were performed to study effects of F(ab')2 and Fab fragments of FRaMon on platelet aggregation (PA) and 14C-serotonin secretion and characteristics of 125I-labelled F(ab')2 and Fab FRaMon binding to platelets. In vivo effects of F(ab')2 FRaMon (preparation FRAMON) were studied upon its bolus i.

A total of 103 samples of amniotic fluid obtained by transabdominal amniocentesis were examined, 52 of these from women at a high risk of giving birth to children with congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to 21-hydroxylase (21-OH) deficiency and 30 ones with fetuses with different neural tube malformations. 17-Hydroxyprogesterone was found to be a reliable marker indicating the disease in fetuses from the group at risk of hereditary 21-OH deficiency. This marker can be effectively used as early as in the 1 gestation trimester.
