The two-point source longitudinal resolution of three-dimensional integral imaging depends on several factors including the number of sensors, sensor pixel size, pitch between sensors, and the lens point spread function. We assume the two-point sources to be resolved if their point spread functions can be resolved in any one of the sensors. Previous studies of integral imaging longitudinal resolution either rely on geometrical optics formulation or assume the point spread function to be of sub-pixel size, thus neglecting the effect of the lens.

In this paper, we address the problem of object recognition in degraded environments including fog and partial occlusion. Both long wave infrared (LWIR) imaging systems and LiDAR (time of flight) imaging systems using Azure Kinect, which combine conventional visible and lidar sensing information, have been previously demonstrated for object recognition in ideal conditions. However, the object detection performance of Azure Kinect depth imaging systems may decrease significantly in adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, and snow.

Methods: Nationwide Inpatient Sample data from 2006 to 2017 was used to identify cases of ORIF following upper and lower extremity fractures, as well as cases that underwent infection-related implant removal following ORIF.
Case: A 73-year-old man with a medical history significant for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) presented with widespread osseous metastases and imaging suspicious for RCC metastasizing to a lipoma interdigitated within the right vastus lateralis. The patient's pathological fractures were surgically addressed, and the lipoma excised. Final histology revealed a thigh lipoma involved by metastatic RCC without direct extension.

Background: CoA is a congenital obstruction to flow through the aorta. Stents have been used since the 1990s to treat CoA; none have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for this indication.
Two series of fused tricyclic indoles were identified as potent and selective S1P(1) agonists. In vivo these agonists produced a significant reduction in circulating lymphocytes which translated into robust efficacy in several rodent models of autoimmune disease. Importantly, these agonists were devoid of any activity at the S1P(3) receptor in vitro, and correspondingly did not produce S1P(3) mediated bradycardia in telemeterized rat.
