Crosslinked PVA--poly(AMPS) Nanogels for Enhanced Solubility and Dissolution of Ticagrelor: Synthesis, Characterization, and Toxicity Evaluation.

In this study, we synthesized PVA--poly(AMPS) nanogels with the aim of enhancing the solubility and dissolution of ticagrelor (TGR). Ticagrelor, a noncompetitive, reversible P2Y12 receptor antagonist, is prescribed to treat acute coronary syndrome. Ticagrelor has restricted oral bioavailability (≈36%) because of its poor solubility and permeability.

A Case Report of Exfoliative Bullous Rash Following AstraZeneca Vaccine.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has affected globally; but thanks to vaccines, the effect has been countered with the help of a vaccination programme. We report a case of exfoliative bullous rash in a 69-year-old lady admitted to the acute medicine unit with complaints of rash post-AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine administration. The rash initially started under her breast and had spread to other parts of the body without mucosal involvement.

Objective To compare the role of paper-based versus digital record keeping in the orthopaedic ward in terms of staff satisfaction, education of staff, and adherence to British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) guidelines. Materials and methods Forty-four participants including nurses, senior house officers, foundation year trainees, and consultants completed a questionnaire. The first survey was done to introduce electronic records keeping to the participants and the second survey was conducted to review the collected record.
