Research Question: To evaluate the effectiveness of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) as a pulpotomy agent in primary molars.
Research Protocol: This systematic review followed the recommendation of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guideline 2020.
Literature Search: An electronic search of the databases was performed to find the effectiveness of LLLT over formocresol as a pulpotomy agent in primary molars in children aged between 3 and 10 years.
Background: Multisystemic inflammatory syndrome (MIS) in the post-coronavirus disease (COVID) scenario is recognized in the pediatric population worldwide. However, no case report features jaw bone necrosis caused by self-mutilating injury noted during COVID treatment.
Case Description: This report is of a 5-year-old child affected by COVID.
Aim: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to answer the following focused question: Are rotary file systems more effective than hand file systems in terms of the quality of obturation and instrumentation time among primary teeth?
Study Eligibility Criteria Participants And Interventions: The inclusion criteria comprised studies that compared the effect on quality of obturation and instrumentation time among primary teeth after using rotary and hand file systems for biomechanical preparation of the root canals.
Materials And Methods: This review was conducted according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. The searched databases included Medline ( PubMed), EBSCO, and Google Scholar.
