Objective: The aim of the study was to identify barriers in help seeking behaviors among women with urinary incontinence UI.
Materials And Methods: The study was performed using the method of diagnostic enquiry by means of questionnaire and interview among two groups of patients. The first group of women aged 47-79 years consisted of 80 members of the Association of People with Urinary Incontinence "Uroconti".
Lectins are proteins or glyco-proteins binding selectively and without the involvement of enzymes specific for carbohydrate ligands. Lectins are present in organisms on different levels of evolutionary development and play very important roles in life processes of these organisms. Lectins' functioning mechanism is based on the reaction of glycolysation.
