Methods: Seventy extracted maxillary and mandibular single-rooted teeth were used. They were randomly divided into three groups and obturated by lateral condensation with gutta-percha and AH 26/AH Plus sealers and Resilon core material and Epiphany sealer.
Background And Objective: To date, many different materials have been proposed for root canal fillings, but gutta-percha (used with various types of sealers) has remained the material of choice for over a century. A new root canal obturation system, the Epiphany endodontic obturation system, has been developed to replace gutta-percha and traditional sealers for root canal obturation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the coronal sealing ability of the new endodontic obturation system.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of immediate and delayed post space preparation on the sealing ability of a new root canal filling material.
Study Design: Seventy-two extracted teeth were prepared and obturated with gutta-percha/AH-Plus and Resilon/Epiphany sealer by the lateral compaction technique. The teeth were divided randomly into 4 groups, and the post space was prepared either immediately after filling or after the obturated teeth had been stored in saline at 37 degrees C for a week.

Objective: The purpose of this report is to present a tularemia case accompanied by a neck mass that easily may be confounded with dental abscess.
Summary: Francisella tularensis is a potential agent of biologic terrorism. Thirty percent of the symptoms seen in tularemia localize in the head and neck region and are sometimes mistaken for complications of a dental abscess.
Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the apical sealing ability of Resilon obturation material.
Methods And Materials: Forty-two single rooted extracted human teeth were selected and randomly divided into three groups. They were obturated using lateral condensation with gutta-percha and AH 26/AH plus and Resilon; also, 12 root canals were used as control groups.
This study was designed to compare the leakage allowed by different obturation materials, using a fluid-transport method. Sixty-six single-rooted human anterior teeth were fully instrumented by using the "step-back" technique and irrigated with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite.
