- The review synthesizes findings from various studies on IL-37 levels in SLE patients, reporting inconsistent results regarding its correlation with disease activity, as well as genetic factors that may increase SLE risk.
- While pre-clinical studies indicate that IL-37 may help reduce SLE severity, more extensive and well-structured research is necessary to confirm its therapeutic potential and safety for SLE patients.
