Purpose: Feeding plates for cleft palate patients have been used by clinicians for many years to temporarily close the oro-nasal communication until definitive treatment with surgical techniques. The current in vitro study aimed to evaluate the adaptation of the feeding plates manufactured by two different techniques for three cleft types.

Materials And Methods: Feeding plates were manufactured with conventional compression molding (CM) and 3-dimensional (3D) additive manufacturing on main models representing bilateral cleft, unilateral right, and unilateral left cleft types (n = 10).

Psychometric Properties of the Turkish Version of Spondyloarthritis Knowledge Questionnaire: A Methodological Study.

Background: Since January 2015, the Cystic Fibrosis National Newborn Bloodspot Screening (CF-NBS) program has been implemented in Türkiye with two samples of immune reactive trypsinogen (IRT-1/IRT-2) testing.

Aims: To evaluate the Turkish national CF screening program, which included patients referred to a tertiary pediatric pulmonology center, to ascertain the optimal cut-off values for IRT-1/IRT-2 and to identify alternative strategies for mitigating the number of late-diagnosed false-negative patients (FNPs) who initially exhibited screen negative results but were diagnosed subsequently based on clinical suspicion. : Secukinumab is a monoclonal antibody against interleukin 17 approved for patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and psoriasis. Treating axSpA and PsA patients with a history of malignancy is a challenge. While initial results on the applicability of secukinumab in this patient group are positive, the number of studies on this topic remains limited.

Evaluation of hard tissue characteristics and calcifications in pulp tissue of hypomineralized permanent molars using micro-computed tomography.

Objectives: To determine and compare pulp volume, dentin mineral density, presence of microcracks, pulp stones, and accessory canals, as well as their localizations in root regions for hypomineralized and healthy teeth.

Design: This study included 60 extracted permanent molar teeth, categorized into hypomineralized and healthy groups (n = 30 each). The hypomineralized group comprised molar teeth with limited white, yellow, or brown opacities, post-eruptive breakdown, or extensive restoration or crown damage.
