Objectives: This study was designed to identify the patterns, prevalence and risk factors of intimate partner violence (IPV) against female adolescents and its association with mental health problems.
Design: Cross-sectional survey.
Settings: Dumuria (subdistrict) under the Khulna district of Bangladesh.
Background: Little is known about parental coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine hesitancy in children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). This survey estimated the prevalence and predictive factors of vaccine hesitancy among parents of children with NDD.
Methods: A nationally representative cross-sectional survey was conducted from October 10 to 31, 2021.
Background: The term perinatal stroke describes focal damage to the developing brain due to cerebrovascular disease and occurring either before or shortly after birth. Aetiology, presentation and evolution differ from stroke in adults.
Aims: We aimed to explore early parental experiences related to having a child with perinatal stroke, including how parental psychological wellbeing had been impacted, to consider how support for families could be improved.
In recent years, silver nanoparticles have gained attention because of their high surface area to volume ratio that makes them more advantageous than their bulky counterparts. Apart of chemical and physical methods of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) production, green synthesis is being exploited by the researchers. Aspergillus niger are among some fungi being used in fabrication of silver nanoparticles and their antifungal activities are being studied.
