An arterial pseudoaneurysm is a cavity which does not consist of three layers of arterial wall and is generally seen at femoral and radial artery sites due to bone fractures, arterial injuries and iatrogenic reasons such as catheterization. A literature review suggests an interaction between an anomaly of the inferior vena cava and thrombophilia in the pathogenesis of deep vein thrombosis.
