Left hepatic hydrothorax without ascites.

Hepatic hydrothorax (HH) is a complication in patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension. It predominantly presents in the right pleural cavity and usually associates with ascites. Few cases of HH occurring without detectable ascites have been reported.
