The C-P4H α-subunit provides the N-terminal dimerization domain, the middle peptide-substrate-binding (PSB) domain, and the C-terminal catalytic (CAT) domain, whereas the β-subunit is identical to the enzyme protein disulfide isomerase (PDI).
