I-131 radioiodine (RAI) ablation removes postoperative residual tissue and facilitates follow-up in low- and intermediate-risk differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). Sarcopenia is defined as a progressive and generalized muscle disorder associated with certain physiological and pathological conditions. We aimed to evaluate the prevalence of sarcopenia in patients with HL using 18-fluoro deoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT, which would provide a data of muscle mass with the CT compartment and also data of muscle metabolism with the 18-FDG compartment of the imaging modality.
