Background: Static and dynamic assessment of the medial longitudinal arch (MLA) is an essential aspect for measuring foot function in both clinical and research fields. Despite this, most multi-segment foot models lack the ability to directly track the MLA. This study aimed to assess various methods of MLA assessment, through motion capture of surface markers on the foot during various activities.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between baseball participation and health (musculoskeletal, general, and psychological health) and to identify research gaps in the existing literature.
Design: Systematic scoping review.
Literature Search: Medical databases and gray literature were systematically searched from inception to November 2018.
Ballast water discharges may cause negative impacts to aquatic ecosystems, human health and economic activities by the introduction of potentially harmful species. Within a collaborative project between Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO) and Research Center Jülich (FZJ), nitrogen reduction levels necessary to reach groundwater quality targets in Slovenia were assessed. For this purpose the hydrological model GROWA-DENUZ was coupled with agricultural N balances and applied consistently to the whole territory of Slovenia in a spatial resolution of 100×100m. GROWA was used to determine the water balance in Slovenia for the hydrologic period 1971-2000.

The pyridylmethyl-appended diazacycloalkane ligands L6(py)2, L7(py)2, and L8(py)2 are prepared by alkylation of the appropriate diazacycloalkane (piperazine, homopiperazine, or diazacyclooctane) with picolyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine. The ligands are metalated with Cu(ClO4)(2).
