There is paucity of data on sexual dysfunction associated with atypical antipsychotics in Indian population. We estimated the prevalence of sexual dysfunction and assessed dose dependency, if any, in patients on monotherapy of atypical antipsychotics. This cross-sectional study analyzed the data from patients with F20 to F29 (International Classification of Diseases 10 Revision, ICD-10) receiving monotherapy of risperidone (group 1), olanzapine (group 2), or quetiapine (group 3) for at least 4 weeks.

Background: Strengthening public health services, setting up directly observed therapy short course Centres, introduction of Revised National tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) are aimed to eradicate tuberculosis by 2025. The aim of this study was to assess physician's awareness, and perspectives about the recent RNTCP guidelines.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional, opinion deriving, study through a tested, validated, standardized questionnaire that covered the role of physician in the diagnosis or treatment of tuberculosis, and tested their awareness about various aspects of RNTCP guidelines.

Background & Objective: We aimed to identify the signals that indicate the possible benefits of administering Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) at the initiation of meal, compared to immediately after food.

Methods: This was a randomized, controlled, pilot study in 160 patients who received only NSAIDs for various pain conditions. Patients were randomized to Group I (control group) -NSAID After Food (AF), Group II-NSAID Before Food (BF), Group III-NSAID BF for 2 days and then crossed over to AF for next two days (CO-1) and Group IV-NSAID AF for 2 days and then crossed over to BF for next two days (C0-2 group).
