Introduction: Two large major trials showed that long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT) improved mortality in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and hypoxemia. Although oxygen accelerates combustion and is an obvious fire hazard, LTOT has traditionally been prescribed to veterans who are actively smoking.

We report a simple and eco-friendly method for the fabrication of a titanium dioxide/functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube (TiO2/FMWCNT) composite electrode for use in supercapacitors. The nanocomposite electrodes were formed by depositing titanium dioxide onto FMWCNTs using reactive magnetron sputtering, thus providing a green roue for the formation of the binder-free composite electrode. It is shown that the electrochemical performance of the fabricated electrodes can be altered by tuning the thickness of the titanium dioxide overlayer.

Aim: To develop potent drug delivery agents to treat multidrug resistant (MDR) bacterial infections using gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) prepared by bacterial exopolysaccharide (EPS) being a reducing and stabilizing agent.

In this study, we demonstrate the antibacterial activity of P128 on Staphylococcus isolates responsible for canine pyoderma. Eighty seven swabs were collected from dogs suffering from pyoderma and subjected to antibiotic sensitivity test and 46 Staphylococcus strains were isolated and characterized. In-vitro antimicrobial susceptibility testing with P128 was done by Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) method as per CLSI guidelines.
