Brown rot, caused by Monilinia species, is a destructive disease of pome and stone fruits that can lead to significant losses in production. Disease management is mainly based on fungicide applications during the growing season. Fludioxonil, a "new-generation reduced-risk fungicide", is one of the most important fungicide used.

In vitro assessment of pesticide residues bioaccessibility in conventionally grown blueberries as affected by complex food matrix.

The aim of this study was to investigate the bioaccessibility of pesticide residues in blueberries (commercial and sample from controlled field trial) from Serbia, involving the presence of a complex food matrix and to assess the potential risk to human health. The presence of nine active substances (azoxystrobin, boscalid, fludioxonil, cyprodinil, pyrimethanil, pyridaben, pyriproxyfen, acetamiprid and thiametoxam) in initial blueberry samples was determined in concentration range from 5.15 μg/kg for thiametoxam to 187 μg/kg for azoxystrobin.

Sensitivity of 24 isolates of O'Gara, collected from alfalfa plants in Serbia, to eight selected fungicides, was investigated in this study. Molecular identification and pathogenicity test of isolates tested were also performed. Fungicide sensitivity was evaluated , using mycelial growth assay method.

Background: Joint bleeds (JB) are reported in a minority of patients with von Willebrand disease (VWD) but may lead to structural joint damage. Prevalence, severity and impact of JB in VWD are largely unknown.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess JB prevalence, onset, treatment and impact on health-related quality of life (HR-QoL) and joint integrity in moderate and severe VWD.
