- Atypical parathyroid tumors (aPT) and parathyroid carcinoma (PC) are very rare types of tumors in the parathyroid glands, making up less than 2% of all such tumors.
- The study looked at patients with aPT and PC to see how they compare in terms of medical features and problems.
- Both types showed similar symptoms, but PCs had more kidney issues and a higher chance of the disease coming back after surgery, leading to plans for better tracking and study of these tumors in Italy and Europe.

This prospective, longitudinal, 3-year, multicentre study aims to explore the clinical peculiarities and outcome of SAT in relation to SARS-CoV-2 infection, ascertained with antibody dosage.
Methods: All patients receiving SAT diagnosis from November 2020 to May 2022 were enrolled.
Aim: To analyze the prevalence of anxiety and depression in a large cohort of adults with autoimmune diabetes, identifying sex-driven associated factors.
Materials And Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we enrolled 553 consecutive adults with Type 1 diabetes mellitus or latent autoimmune diabetes in adults who came to the Division of Endocrinology of the S.Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic, Bologna (Italy), to receive their second dose of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
