B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma of the breast in Waldenström's macroglobulinemia: a case report.

Background: Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) of the breast is a rare disease and can occur amongst patients affected by Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia (WM). WM is an indolent B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an overall incidence of about 1/100,000 in Europe. Breast imaging is not specific to breast lymphoma that often mimics benign lesions.

Superomedial pedicle skin-reducing mastectomy in ptotic and large-sized breasts with two-stage reconstruction through transaxillary video-assisted technique: An effective surgical and anesthetic approach.

Introduction: Skin-reducing mastectomy has been applied to several surgical techniques in which subcutaneous mastectomy is associated with various types of skin reduction, with preservation of a lower dermal flap to reinforce the inferior lateral seat of an implant. The aim of the study is to present a case series of patients with pendulous/ptotic and/or large-sized breasts treated for breast cancer at the Breast Surgery Unit of Istituto Nazionale Tumori IRCCS Fondazione "G. Pascale", Naples, Italy, with the superomedial pedicle skin-reducing mastectomy technique, two-stage reconstruction, and transaxillary video-assisted technique, when a postoperative radiotherapy was indicated.

Preoperative localisation of nonpalpable breast lesions using magnetic markers in a tertiary cancer centre.

Background: We retrospectively evaluated safety and performance of magnetic seed localisation of nonpalpable breast lesions.

Methods: We reviewed records of patients with nonpalpable breast lesions preoperative localised by placing magnetic Magseed® marker between February 2019 and December 2020. During surgery, Sentimag® magnetic probe was used to localise the marker and guide surgery.

Lower Eyelid Orbicularis Oculi Myocutaneous Flap: A Feasible Technique for Full Thickness Upper Eyelid Reconstruction.

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most frequent malignant eyelid tumor, followed by squamous cell carcinoma, sebaceous gland carcinoma and malignant melanoma. These eyelid malignancies represent main reason for eyelid reconstruction in ophthalmoplastic surgery which can be challenging. Lower eyelid orbicularis oculi myocutaneous flap was used for reconstructive purpose in four consecutive patients with a full thickness upper eyelid BCC.

Angiosarcoma of the breast, the unknown-a review of the current literature.

Angiosarcoma of the breast is one of the rarest malignancies. Breast angiosarcoma can be classified into primary when arising de novo and secondary to chronic lymphoedema or breast irradiation. Molecular pathways involved in angiosarcoma development have not been described clearly, yet some gene point mutations and protein altered expression levels have been detected.
