Objective: Osteoporosis is a common metabolic disorder that causes progressive changes in bone structure. Metabolic changes and possible degeneration of middle ear ossicles or the cochlear capsule may cause hearing loss in patients with osteoporosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the hearing function and otolaryngologic symptoms of patients with osteoporosis.

We present a 35-year-old male patient with an eight-year history of endoscopic nasal polypectomy followed by five episodes of meningitis (4 episodes in the past 3 years). His major complaints were right-sided nasal obstruction, frequent watery nasal discharge, headache, and fever. Physical examination revealed a mass in the right nasal cavity.

Objectives: The effect of cochlear implantation on voice development in prelingually deaf children was investigated.
Patients And Methods: The study included 60 prelingually deaf children (28 girls, 32 boys; mean age 68 months; range 37 to 128 months) who underwent cochlear implantation. Voice analyses were made between 6 to 21 months after the first fitting and six months after the baseline.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to research and compare the affects of cordectomy, frontolateral laryngectomy or cricohyoidopexy techniques over voice parameters prospectively.
Patients And Methods: Fifty-six larynx cancer patients (56 males; mean age 59; range 48 to 71 years) whom cordectomy, frontolateral laryngectomy or cricohyoidopexy was applied in S.B.
Chronic otitis media (COM) patients who had a multichannel device implanted were evaluated regarding surgical problems and technical modifications. In a multicentric study, implantees whose aetiology was COM were retrospectively evaluated. Patients were operated on and evaluated at three different tertiary referral centres: SSK Izmir Hospital Cochlear Implantation (CI) Center (32 cases), Istanbul Marmara University ENT Clinic (six cases), Eskişehir Anadolu University CI Center (one case).
