Periorbital Tuberculosis: A Rare Case of Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis.

Purpose: Orbital/periorbital tuberculosis (TB) is an uncommon manifestation of extrapulmonary TB, presenting diagnostic challenges due to its varied clinical features that can mimic other diseases. This report aims to present a rare case of periorbital TB in a young man.

Methods: Case report.

Materials And Methods: In this study, we retrospectively examined the data of patients who were hospitalized and treated in our hospital between September 1, 2020, and November 30, 2020, and whose COVID-19 diagnosis was confirmed by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).

Tibiofibular Relationships of the Normal Syndesmosis on Axial Computed Tomography in the Turkish Population.

Objective: Computed tomography (CT) is superior to plain radiography for evaluating ankle syndesmosis, but anatomical variations can affect the measurements. This study aimed to assess the radiologic parameters of the incisura fibularis and the factors that could affect these parameters.

Materials And Methods: Lower-extremity CT angiography images were used to evaluate the morphology of the incisura fibularis, anterior and posterior tibiofibular distance, longitudinal and transverse length of the distal fibula, length and depth of the incisura fibularis notch, tibiofibular clear space, tibiofibular overlap, and fibular rotation.

IGG4-related giant lymphoproliferative-inflammatory left atrial mass.

Cardiac masses are rare entities that can be challenging in clinical diagnosis and management. Cardiac masses can be detected incidentally in patients with an asymptomatic course or may cause systemic inflammation findings due to inflammatory cytokine release or symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, syncope, sudden cardiac death, and mortality due to the location of the mass. Cardiac masses associated with systemic inflammatory disorders are uncommon in this disease group.
