Objective: To evaluate the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on mobility among patients with substantial leg impairment after subacute stroke.
Design: Double-blinded, stratified, randomized trial involving a sham control group.
Participants: Patients who developed unilateral hemiplegia after first-ever subacute stroke and underwent inpatient stroke rehabilitation.
Purpose: The objective of this study was to develop an ICF core set describing sub-acute spinal cord injury (SCI) specifically for Taiwanese patients.
Methods: A consensus process using three rounds of Delphi technique was conducted. Twenty multidisciplinary participants from various institutions were recruited.

Method: We analyzed data of 162 younger (aged 18-64 years) and 202 older (aged ≥65 years) people post stroke from the databank of persons with disability between June 1, 2011 and February 29, 2012.

A wrist mass is rarely caused by a ruptured tendon in the forearm. The common pathologies are ganglia, tendon tenosynovitis, and giant cell tumors of tendon sheaths. Less common causes are nerve sheath tumors, vascular lesions, or an accessory muscle belly.

Design: Fall risk factors were identified based on a systematic review of the literature and linked to ICF categories. A consensus process was conducted using a Delphi-based evaluation technique.
Purpose: This study systemically reviewed the published literature on the ICF core set.
Method: A computer search of the MEDLINE, PubMed and SCOPUS databases was conducted between 2001 and December 2012. Articles reporting on the development of a set or sets of ICF categories for specific disease or health conditions were selected for a systematic review.
Research has indicated that inflammation promote all phases of atherosclerosis. The current study tested the hypothesis that rhinosinusitis is a risk marker for myocardial infarction (MI). Data on the general population were obtained from the Taiwan Longitudinal Health Insurance Database 2005 (LHID2005).
