Background: Mastectomy skin flap ischemia is a well-known postoperative complication following mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has shown promising results for reducing the adverse effects associated with mastectomy skin flap ischemia and associated necrosis; however, there is paucity of literature regarding the indications for HBOT following breast cancer surgery. Therefore, the primary aim of this study was to evaluate a same-day surgery protocol regarding safety using the minor partial knee replacement (PKR) procedure by non-selectively recruiting patients at a public hospital for one consecutive year.
Methods: 33 unselected PKR cases were included in this open clinical trial.

We measured cortical bone mineral content (BMC [g]), bone mineral density (BMD [g/cm(2)]), and bone width (cm) in the distal forearm by single photon absorptiometry in 120 boys and 94 girls with a mean age of 10 years (range 3-17) and mean 28 years (range 25-29) later. We calculated individual and age-specific bone mass Z scores, using the control cohort included at baseline as reference, and evaluated correlations between the two measurements with Pearson's correlation coefficient.

Landscape change alters the visual scale of agricultural landscapes, as production units get larger and strips of taller vegetation are removed between smaller units. Visual scale, defined as the perceptual units reflecting the experience of landscape rooms, visibility and openness, is considered a key factor shaping landscape preference. The visual expression of landscapes affects people in many ways; aesthetic appreciation, health and well being.
