The Predictability Precision of Superior Semicircular Canal Through Radiological Assessment and Microanatomical Dissection.

Objective: There is still ongoing research on the relationship of arcuate eminence (AE) and superior semicircular canal (SSC). We aimed to evaluate the precision of predictability of SSC through the morphology of AE via radiological means.

Objective: Nasal Polyp (NP) is a benign mass of the paranasal sinuses that protrudes into the nasal cavity. The exact underlying pathogenesis is not known. In this study we aimed to determine the genetic susceptibility of NP formation in relation to TNF-α-308 and IL-1β-511 promoter region gene polymorphisms.

Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma originating from ectopic salivary gland in the neck region: case report.

Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma (CEPA) is the malignant salivary gland tumor originating from primary (de novo) or recurrent pleomorphic adenoma. Although parotid gland is the most common site, it can also be seen in submandibular gland or minor salivary glands. It can be seen rarely in head and neck region, such as oral cavity, trachea, nasal cavity and lacrimal gland.

Leiomyosarcoma of Larynx as a Metachronous Tumor of Squamous Cell Carcinoma: An Unusual Case.

Leiomyosarcomas (LMSs) are malignant tumors of smooth muscles accounting for 5-6% of all soft tissue sarcomas. They are mostly seen in the gastrointestinal tractus, the uterus, and the retroperitoneum. Soft tissue sarcomas comprise <1% of all laryngeal malignancies, most of which are chondrosarcomas.
