Background: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a frequently observed and remarkably incapacitating disorder worldwide. As a multisystem disorder, OSA has been linked to a plethora of clinical parameters though physical parameters like muscle strength have been scantily studied. Hand grip strength (HGS) is a practical marker of physical function that has been associated with mortality and an array of clinical outcomes as well as physiological parameters like sleep duration.
