Neutron-Transformer Reflectometry Advanced Computation Engine (), a neural network model using a transformer architecture, is introduced for neutron reflectometry data analysis. It offers fast, accurate initial parameter estimations and efficient refinements, improving efficiency and precision for real-time data analysis of lithium-mediated nitrogen reduction for electrochemical ammonia synthesis, with relevance to other chemical transformations and batteries. Despite limitations in generalizing across systems, it shows promises for the use of transformers as the basis for models that could accelerate traditional approaches to modeling reflectometry data.

This study aimed to evaluate the dental status of the first permanent molars in children aged 11-12 years. This cross-sectional study was conducted over 12 months at the Integrated Center for Dental Medicine in Târgu Mureș and two private clinics in Transylvania.

While there are numerous well-known order parameters to characterize these dynamics, shortcoming of these metrics are also recognized. To capture all transitions from phase disordered states over phase locking to fully synchronized systems, new metrics were proposed and demonstrated on homogeneous models.

Here, we conduct a large-scale, multi-center examination of this hypothesis. Employing a meta-analytic network neuroscience approach, we analyze resting-state fMRI and creative task performance across 10 independent samples from Austria, Canada, China, Japan, and the United States (N = 2433)-constituting the largest and most ethnically diverse creativity neuroscience study to date.

PTSD is characterized by persistent traumatic memories with limited effective treatment options. A body of evidence suggests that memory storage is dynamic and constantly updated through post-retrieval modification a process termed reconsolidation.

People who are habitually more physically active produce more original ideas when asked to think creatively about an alternative use of an everyday object such as a brick. This aligns with findings indicating a positive relationship of PA with more basic cognition, such as memory, attention, as well as executive functioning.

This study aimed to detect neurobiological changes and factors related to cognitive performance in the Metropolit 1953 Danish male birth cohort. We analyzed data from 582 participants, aged 57-68 years, using machine learning techniques to group cognitive trajectories into four clusters differentiating high- and low-performing groups.

Stl repressor from Staphylococcus aureus was shown to bind to and inhibit dUTPases from various sources, and its expression in mycobacterial cells interfered with cell growth. To fine-tune and optimize Stl-induced inhibition of mycobacterial dUTPase, we aimed to decipher the molecular details of this interaction.

This investigation primarily aims to identify the optimal cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) views for distinguishing between normal and myocarditis cases, using deep learning (DL) methodologies. Analyzing CMRI data from a cohort of 269 individuals, with 231 confirmed myocarditis cases and 38 as control participants, we implemented an innovative DL framework to facilitate the automated detection of myocarditis.

Methods: Using data from the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) and Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO), our retrospective study analyzed newly diagnosed malignancies between Jan 1, 2011, and Dec 31, 2019. Age-standardized incidence and mortality rates were calculated for all and for different tumor types using both the 1976 and 2013 European Standard Populations (ESP).
The primary objective of this study was to identify preoperative factors that could be associated with positive resection margins. We also tried to analyze the local recurrence and overall survival in patients who received conservative treatment for early-stage breast cancer and correlate these parameters with preoperative factors. A retrospective examination was conducted on the medical records and pathological reports of 143 patients who underwent breast-conserving surgery (BCS) for breast cancer in our department from 2009 to 2017.

Not all lesions deemed non-significant are benign, and conversely, not all significant lesions are causative of ischemia. Fractional flow reserve (FFR) provides a functional assessment of coronary lesions, while optical coherence tomography (OCT) offers detailed imaging of plaque morphology, aiding in therapeutic decision-making.

This review synthesizes evidence on internal coupling across diverse domains including episodic memory and simulation, visuospatial memory, numerical cognition, object movement, body movement, and brightness imagery. In each domain, eye movements consistently reflect distinct aspects of mental imagery typically akin to those seen in corresponding visual experiences.

Background/objectives: The present study aimed to evaluate the two most critical complications of dental implantation, peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis, through the prism of different influencing factors.
Methods: We followed 40 patients, with a total number of 92 dental implants, divided into three age groups: under 35 years, between 35 and 55 years, and older than 55 years.
Purpose: To evaluate if background parenchymal enhancement (BPE) on contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM), graded according to the 2022 CEM-dedicated Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) lexicon, is associated with breast density, menopausal status, and age.
Methods: This bicentric retrospective analysis included CEM examinations performed for the work-up of suspicious mammographic findings. Three readers independently and blindly evaluated BPE on recombined CEM images and breast density on low-energy CEM images.
