Aims: Patients with adrenal incidentaloma (AI) are at increased risk of impaired glucose metabolism, which is known to be associated with pancreatosteatosis (PS). We aimed to investigate the risk of developing dysglycemia for patients with non-functioning AI (NFAI) versus those without, and whether the presence of PS predicts future dysglycemia in patients with NFAI.
Method: In 80 patients with NFAI and 127 controls matched for age, sex, and body mass index, changes in fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c) were evaluated at 2 years.
Background: The differences at the attachment site of peroneus brevis (PB) to the fifth metatarsal bone is important in terms of the forces exerted on the bone and hence the mechanism of fractures involving this structure. In this study, we investigated the anatomical properties of PB at the insertion site to the base of fifth metatarsal bone, its possible intertendinous connections with peroneus tertius (PT) and their possible effects on the fracture occurrence at the bony attachment site.
Methods: The length and the width of PB tendons at their mid- and end-points were measured and classified according to the insertion types.

In this article, we present a 21-year-old male patient who presented with swelling and pain located to right lower thigh and knee. Physical examination and subsequent diagnostic work-up revealed a pseudoaneurysm associated with an osteochondroma at lower thigh. This complication should be considered in young patients with a mass at knee and lower thigh region.

CSF motion is a combined effect of CSF production rate and superimposed cardiac pulsations. Knowledge of CSF dynamics has benefited considerably from the development of phase-contrast (PC) MRI.

Benign fibrous histiocytoma constitutes a diagnostic challenge because it shares common clinical symptoms, radiological characteristics, and histological features with other benign lesions involving the spine. We present a case of benign fibrous histiocytoma of the lumbar spine and discuss its differential diagnosis and management.

Radiographs and computed tomography (CT) revealed an exostosis on the postero-inferior aspect of the left femoral neck. Ultrasonographic examination of left upper thigh and a pelvic magnetic resonance (MR) imaging showed an enlarged sciatic nerve adjacent to the exostosis.

Material And Methods: Proton MR spectroscopy (TE 30 and 136 ms), diffusion-weighted and perfusion images were retrospectively evaluated in 22 patients with pathologically proven DNT (17 male and 5 female, mean age 18.7 years) and 14 control subjects (10 male and 4 female, mean age 16.

Torsion of the appendices epiploicae is a rare condition that may present with acute abdominal pain and mimics appendicitis. We report a 20-year-old previously appendectomized man presenting with right lower abdominal quadrant pain. Abdominal ultrasonography showed a localized omental thickening in the right paracolic region.

Materials And Methods: Twenty-five children between the ages of 4 months and 13 years (19 males and 6 females, mean age 6.5 years) were evaluated with T2 weighted and contrast-enhanced T1 weighted MR sequences.
