In this study, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and dextran (Dex) were chemically modified to obtain amino-functionalized PEG (PEG-(NH)) and oxidized dextran (ODex). They were subsequently reacted via -NH and -CHO groups to synthesize a macromolecular Schiff base particle. The structures, morphologies, and thermal properties of the macromolecular Schiff base particle were characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and thermogravimetry analysis (TGA).

Based on the Hohai model, a creep constitutive model of viscoelastic-plastic soft rock with joint fracture damage is proposed to solve the rheological failure problem in soft rock tunnels surrounding rock. Based on the proposed creep model of rock with joint damage and the current analytical analysis method of circular tunnel, the analytical formulas of viscoelastic-viscoplastic stress and displacement of circular tunnel with joint damage surrounding rock are derived. ABAQUS finite element software is used to simulate the excavation of surrounding rock with different joint angles.

In this paper, an alumina ink with good rheological properties was successfully prepared using pseudoboehmite as the main component, nitric acid as the colloidal solvent, and sesbania powder as the lubricant. The impact of nine different ink formulations, namely, Ink1 to Ink9, on the printability and rheological features of the ink was investigated. Consequently, it was found that Ink3 with 5 wt % nitric acid and 5 wt % sesbania powder exhibited the most favorable formability.

In order to study the creep behavior of the surrounding rock of the interbedded rock mass tunnel considering the time-dependent deformation, this paper proposes a viscoelastic-plastic seven-element model considering the stress threshold, and derives and establishes its creep equation under three-dimensional stress state. At the same time, the UMAT (User-defined Material) subroutine of the model is developed based on the ABAQUS software. The rationality of the seven-element model and the effectiveness of the subprogram are verified by rheological test results.

Targeting mitochondria via nano platform emerged as an attractive anti-tumor pathway due to the central regulation role in cellar apoptosis and drug resistance. Here, a mitochondria-targeting nanoparticle (TOS-PDA-PEG-TPP) was designed to precisely deliver polydopamine (PDA) as the photothermal agent and alpha-tocopherol succinate (α-TOS) as the chemotherapeutic drug to the mitochondria of the tumor cells, which inhibits the tumor growth through chemo- and photothermal- synergistic therapies.
