Fringe pattern analysis based on the two-dimensional synchrosqueezing transform.

Windowed Fourier transform (WFT) is used to analyze fringe patterns observed from optical measurements. The space-frequency resolution of the WFT is limited, which affects the analyzing performance. In this Letter, we propose to apply the two-dimensional synchrosqueezing transform (SST) for analyzing fringe patterns.
