This is a case series of 3 patients who presented with periocular changes in the treated eye following chronic administration of unilateral latanoprost 0.005%. The clinical changes included worsening of dermatochalasis, deepening of superior sulcus and hollowness of the lid.

Purpose: To determine the relationship between the magnitude of preoperative A pattern and the correction of vertical alignment and horizontal and vertical incomitance in patients treated with superior oblique muscle-weakening procedures for A-pattern strabismus.

Methods: The records of consecutive patients who underwent surgery for A-pattern strabismus between 1997 and 2008 were retrospectively reviewed. Both horizontal (from up- to downgaze) and vertical (from right to left gaze) incomitance were assessed.

Purpose: To assess the incidence and investigate the functional impact of postoperative overcorrection following primary unilateral inferior oblique muscle recession and myectomy for inferior oblique overaction.

Methods: A retrospective study of 79 consecutive patients undergoing inferior oblique myectomy (43) or recession (36) with a minimum 6 months of postoperative follow-up. All underwent ocular motility examinations preoperatively and postoperatively at approximately 2 weeks and 6 months.

We describe the clinical findings in two patients with double heterozygosity, both involving Stickler syndrome. In case 1, the proposita had Albright hereditary osteodystrophy which was inherited from her mother and type 1 Stickler syndrome which was a new mutation. The combination of manifestations from the two syndromes had resulted in initial diagnostic confusion.
