Introduction Endometrial aspiration cytology (EAC) is a noninvasive, rapid, and cost-effective procedure for diagnosing gynecological disorders. This study aimed to validate endometrial aspiration as a routine, safe, and efficient outpatient diagnostic procedure, correlating its findings with histopathology evaluations to facilitate early surgical planning for patients with abnormal uterine bleeding. Pulmonary lesions on imaging are presumed to be metastatic lesions in patients with breast cancer. Here, we report an interesting case of a 63-year-old lady with breast carcinoma showing pulmonary lesions on imaging suggestive of pulmonary metastases. Detailed evaluation of pulmonary lesions confirmed the presence of co-existing pulmonary sarcoidosis.

Extramedullary hematopoiesis (EMH) is a compensatory mechanism that occurs when the marrow is unable to maintain sufficient red cell mass. EMH generally occurs in the patients with deficient bone marrow hematopoiesis secondary to either peripheral red cell destruction or marrow replacement. Although EMH is known to occur in agnogenic myeloid metaplasia with myelofibrosis, chronic myelogenous leukemia, thalassemia, and infiltrative disorders, such as lymphomas, it is rare in acute leukemias.

Ectopic thymic tissue in the neck is rarely reported in medical literature. Being uncommon, they are rarely included in the clinical diagnosis of cervical cystic masses and are misdiagnosed by surgeons as branchial cysts, lymphatic malformations, epidermoid cysts, dermoid cysts or thyroglossal cysts, lymphadenitis or neoplastic masses. Although it is rare, cervical thymic cyst should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a lateral cystic neck mass.
