A novel diphenyl-anthraquinone compound, cassuquinone A, was isolated from the rhizomes of Zingiber cassumunar. Structural elucidation was accomplished using detailed NMR and HRMS-ESI techniques, revealing a symmetrical anthraquinone core with methoxylated aromatic rings. Cassuquinone A exhibited potent α-glucosidase inhibitory activity with an IC₅₀ of 11.

Dry eye disease (DED) is a complicated disorder that impacts ocular surface and tear-film stability. Inflammation has recently been reported as the core mechanism and main therapeutic target of DED. Although anti-inflammatory drugs have been developed, they still have limited efficacy and various side effects.

Here, we present an innovative approach to fabricating long serpentine, high-aspect-ratio submillimeter channels made of stainless steel 316L (SS) by binder jet printing (BJP) and liquid-phase sintering. We leverage the unique nature of the BJP process, that is printing and consolidation steps are decoupled, enabling us to join two or more parts during the sintering step.

The two tissue compartments containing cells in the surrounding of taste buds include the connective tissue core of taste papillae and von Ebner's glands (vEGs) that are connected to the trench of circumvallate and foliate papillae. In this study, we used inducible Cre mouse models to map the cell lineages of connective tissue (including stromal and Schwann cells) and vEGs and performed single cell RNA-sequencing of the epithelium of mouse circumvallate/vEG complex.

Recent phylogenomic analyses have identified a morphologically cohesive lineage referred to as the (raphides) clade, which should be excluded from and treated as a distinct genus under the name . Morphological and phylogenomic data have confirmed that four new species collected from Vietnam are part of the (raphides) clade.

Based on the hemiparasitic and more or less liana habits of this genus, we hypothesized that its evolution and distribution were shaped by the development of EBLFs there. To test our hypothesis, the most comprehensive phylogenies of hitherto were constructed based on plastome and nuclear loci (nrDNA, PHYA and PHYB); then divergence time and ancestral areas were inferred using the combined nuclear loci dataset.

Coproecology sheds light on understanding the complex prey-predator relationships, trophic dynamics, and ecosystem evolution. Through quantitative and multidisciplinary analysis, the putative coprolites were attributed to crocodilian producers, leading to the establishment of a new ichnogenus and species, igen.

Methods: This retrospective observational study involved all patients treated with HFNC therapy at a center for COVID-19 in Viet Nam from August to October 2021.
Results: The study recruited 302 patients.

Whether these procedures should be performed in the same surgery or in separate settings remain unclear. As a first step to address this question, we assess safety profile of procedures involving LITT alone versus SNB + LITT.

This number represents about 3 to 5% of the world's diversity of vascular plants. Over the past 30 years, there were two important documents on the vascular plants of Vietnam published, (IFV) and (CPSV).
