Aim: To explore the features of vectorcardiograms (VCG) of patients with essential hypertension complicated by chronic heart failure with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (CHFrLVEF).
Materials And Methods: We analyzed VCGs of 70 hypertensive patients with CHFrLVEF and 275 hypertensive patients without clinical signs of CHF and with LVEF50%. We assessed the presence of rhythm and conduction disturbances, and the parameters of the synthesized VCG, i.
Trained detection dogs distinguish between urine samples from healthy organisms and organisms with malignant tumors, suggesting that the volatile urine metabolome contains information about tumor progression. The aim of this study was to determine whether the stage of tumor growth affects the chemical differences in the urine of mice and to what extent the "olfactory image of disease" perceived by dogs coincides with the "image of disease" recorded by the mass spectrometer. We used a novel laser ionization mass spectrometry method and propose a mass spectrometric analysis without detailed interpretation of the spectrum of volatile metabolomes in urine.

A novel algorithm developed for supersonic gas jet profile retrieval from interferometric measurement is presented. The algorithm uses the Fourier transform method for the phase map restoration and method based on radial profile approximation by a set of hyper-Gaussian functions and their forward Abel transform for 3D gas density profile restoration. The numerical algorithm of the 3D gas density profile restoration based on expansion of the density radial distribution by a basis of hyper-Gaussian functions is compared with algorithms of the inverse Abel transform.

The combination of laser accelerated electrons and Compton backscattering of a probe light beam opens the possibility of creating the tabletop source of a femtosecond light beam in x-ray and gamma ranges. The project is aimed at creating a laser-driven Compton light source in ILP SB RAS in collaboration with BINP SB RAS.

The improved technique for choosing pump beam angles with minimal parasitic amplification is presented. Differences of carrier-resolving versus envelope simulations are discussed.

The proposed and implemented two-loop active stabilization system allows us to achieve 110 as relative timing jitter between combined pulses, which is necessary for efficient coherent beam combining. In each channel of the two-channel laser setup, pulses were parametrically amplified in β-BaB2O4 (BBO) crystals to 50 μJ energy, compressed to 49 fs duration, and then coherently combined with efficiency as high as 97%.

Methods: Standard 12-lead and vectorcardiographic measurements with the McFee-Parungao lead system were carried out for 289 echocardiographically accessed healthy subjects and hypertensive patients with LVH. The proposed parameter index of left ventricular hypertrophy for recognition of LVH is a product of the following 3 characteristics: maximum magnitude of depolarization vector, total duration of ventricular depolarization, and local spatial integral of activation duration.
Objective: The aim of this work was to describe a new approach to noninvasive differential diagnosis of left and right ventricular hypertrophies (LVH and RVH) caused by the arterial or lung hypertensions.
Methods: The vectorcardiographic measurements were analyzed by means of dipolar electrocardiotopography (DECARTO) technique based upon a simplified spherical model of the heart. The characteristics of LVH and RVH are obtained from the decartograms of activation duration.
Aim: To estimate the informative value of orthogonal ECG parameters for the diagnosis of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH).
Materials And Methods: The study comprised 142 apparently healthy individuals and 125 patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and LVH (left ventricular mass index more than 125 g/m2 for males and more than 110 g/m2 for females). Characteristic curves (ROC curves) were used to describe and compare the informative value of vectorcardiographic, demapping criteria for L VH with the informavalue of the Sokolov-Lyons criterion, the Cornelian index, and the Cornelian product.
The aim of the present study was to investigate the reflection of psychoemotional stress in the body surface potential distribution as documented by isointegral maps of cardiac activation and recovery. In 72 young men (18.3+/- 7.

Material And Methods: We made DECG in 151 healthy subjects and 158 hypertensive patients. To characterize DECG quantitatively, we used the integral activation duration index (IADI) calculated as a weighted sum of the areas with different duration of activation, module of the maximal vector QRS, QRSxIADI (IADIM).
This paper presents an overview on the design and implementation of a computer system for the interpretation of home monitoring data of diabetic patients. The comprehensive methodology covers the major information processing steps leading from raw data to a concise summary of what has happened between two subsequent visits. It includes techniques for summarising and interpreting data, checking for inconsistency, identifying and diagnosing metabolic problems and learning from patient data.

These coordinates were determined by the previously proposed method from the cardioelectric potential measured noninvasively with a multichannel lead system in the framework of electrocardiographic mapping.

The Decarto technique was used to study the orthogonal ECGs recorded in 23 subjects during parabolic flights (44 records). A parameter of the instantaneous decartograms, namely the activation area (AA), which is the total area of the depolarization front projection on the image sphere, was analyzed. We compared the values of AA during the periods of horizontal flight, upward parts of all parabolas, and the initial 10 s of microgravity of all parabolas.

The method provides a more accurate and stable spatial location of the cardioelectric generator as compared to other methods (in particular, those based on minimization of the quadrupole potential). The position of the electric center is a useful characteristic for topical diagnosis of the electrophysiological state and function of the heart.

The simplified models of ventricular depolarization electric generator considered in this study, consist of sets of uniform double layers representing basic configurations of the true electric generator of the heart, while allowing an analytical calculation of the multipole components, as well as potential of the generator. The contribution of the generator multipole components to the potential on the spherical quasiepicardium is evaluated.

Hemosorption facilitates activation of natural antioxidant enzymes resulting in decreased levels of underoxidated products of lipid peroxidation: in 2/3 of the patients the use of repeated sessions of hemosorption with 24-48 h intervals is indicated in order to achieve normalization of natural antioxidant defense.
