Introduction Prehospital stroke scales have been developed to identify anterior large vessel occlusion (LVO) in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients for direct transport to thrombectomy-capable hospitals. However, its performance in a Vietnamese population remains unknown. We aimed to evaluate the predictive value of the Rapid Arterial oCclusion Evaluation (RACE) scale for LVO detection in patients with ischemic stroke presenting within 24 hours in Vietnam.

Introduction: Recent trials have demonstrated the remarkable benefit of endovascular treatment (EVT) up to 24 h in patients with large vessel occlusion (LVO) and target mismatch profiles; however, benefits of late-window EVT in Vietnamese population remain poorly understood. This study aims to evaluate the real-world outcomes of EVT in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients selected using perfusion imaging within the 6-24-h window.
Methods: This is a prospective study of consecutive patients with anterior circulation LVO stroke who underwent EVT within 6-24 h after last known well between August 2022 and March 2024.
Introduction: Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) plays a crucial role in acute ischemic stroke (AIS), as it is used to evaluate the ischemic lesions that are irreversibly damaged. The reversibility of DWI ischemic lesions has been noted in patients with AIS who undergo revascularization therapy. In addition, the occurrence of this phenomenon in large ischemic regions remains rare, particularly the near-complete reversal of large DWI lesion cases.

Cleomiscosins (CMs) have numerous interesting biological activities, including noteworthy cytotoxicity of cancer cell lines along with hepatoprotective and assumed antioxidant activities. In this present study, the antioxidant properties of three cleomiscosins were investigated with a focus on the structure-activity relationship using thermodynamic and kinetic calculations with the M06-2X/6-311++G(d,p) method.

This first study investigated the presence of dioxins and furans in river sediments around a craft village in Vietnam, focusing on Secondary Steel Recycling. Sediment samples were collected from various locations along the riverbed near the Da Hoi Secondary Steel Recycling village in Bac Ninh province. The analysis was conducted using a HRGC/HRMS-DFS device, detecting a total of 17 dioxin/furan isomers in all samples, with an average total concentration of 288.

Patients with slow progression, however, may still benefit from endovascular treatment beyond the 24-h time window (very late window).
Aim: The aim of this study is to report insight into the potential clinical benefits of endovascular treatment for acute ischemic stroke beyond 24 h from symptom onset.
Sustainable agriculture is crucial for achieving SDG2 and building a resilient climate-food system. This study provides a nuanced understanding of factors that influence the adoption of precision agriculture technology by Vietnamese smallholder rice farmers as a sustainable agricultural solution. The study's objectives are: (1) to provide a nuanced understanding of factors that influence adoption of precision agriculture technology by Vietnamese smallholder rice farmers; and (2) to identify factors associated with agricultural practice in Vietnam that may impact the adoption of precision agriculture technology.

In 37 surveyed water samples (6 rivers and 17 lakes), all eight targeted OPEs were discovered with a detection frequency (DF) of 41-100% and the concentration varied largely from below the method detection limit (
The presence and distribution of thirteen organophosphate flame retardants (OPFRs) were investigated in indoor air and dust samples collected in Hanoi, Vietnam. The total OPFRs (ƩOPFRs) concentrations in indoor air and dust samples were 42.3-358 ng m (median 101 ng m) and 1290-17,500 ng g (median 7580 ng g), respectively.

Few health professionals have stroke specialist training, and the quality of care may vary between hospitals. To support improvements to stroke care, we aimed to gain a better understanding of the resources available in hospitals in Vietnam to manage acute stroke.

In this study, concentrations and distribution of cyclic volatile methyl siloxanes (CVMSs) including D3, D4, D5, and D6 were examined in indoor dust samples collected from various micro-environments in northern and central Vietnam. Concentrations of total CVMSs in the dust samples ranged from 86.

This study aimed to investigate the genetic diversity of PRRSV to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of PRRS vaccines. Twenty-eight samples from clinical cases were collected from 19 farms in seven provinces of Vietnam in 2021.

Immunization with vaccines is one of the most effective strategies for controlling this disease. However, shifts in the antigenicity and pathogenicity of novel evolving viral strains have the potential to evade vaccination.

'Sugars Will Eventually be Exported Transporters' (SWEETs) are a group of sugar transporters that play crucial roles in various biological processes, particularly plant stress responses. However, no information is available yet for the CaSWEET family in chickpea. Here, we identified all putative CaSWEET members in chickpea, and obtained their major characteristics, including physicochemical patterns, chromosomal distribution, subcellular localization, gene organization, conserved motifs and three-dimensional protein structures.
