Introduction And Importance: Several authors have also made reference to a less prevalent condition known in elbow as ulnar nerve subluxation. However, this particular condition tends to manifest primarily in young individuals who engage in professional sports or activities involving extensive use of the forearm. A more severe form of ulnar nerve subluxation, which is ulnar nerve dislocation, gives rise to a characteristic dislocation and relocation of the nerve at the elbow during flexion and extension of the forearm.

Doubling the life of Cu/ZnO methanol synthesis catalysts via use of Si as a structural promoter to inhibit sintering.

Cu/ZnO/AlO catalysts used to synthesize methanol undergo extensive deactivation during use, mainly due to sintering. Here, we report on formulations wherein deactivation has been substantially reduced by the targeted use of a small quantity of a Si-based promoter, resulting in accrued activity benefits that can exceed a factor of 1.8 versus unpromoted catalysts.

Background: The use of 3D-printed Patient-Specific Instruments (PSI) has been investigated to enhance the postoperative functional results in total hip arthroplasty (THA) and has been recognized as an innovative approach for the optimal alignment of hip implant components. Point-of-care production is gradually becoming the norm for PSI manufacturing. The purpose of this article is to assess the accuracy and safety of PSI for total hip arthroplasty performed at the point-of-care in Vietnam.

Reflections on the concept of optimality of single decision point treatment regimes.

In many areas, applied researchers as well as practitioners have to choose between different solutions for a problem at hand; this calls for optimal decision rules to settle the choices involved. As a key example, one may think of the search for optimal treatment regimes (OTRs) in clinical research, that specify which treatment alternative should be administered to each patient under study. Motivated by the fact that the concept of optimality of decision rules in general and treatment regimes in particular has received so far relatively little attention and discussion, we will present a number of reflections on it, starting from the basics of any optimization problem.

Case Presentation: A 54 year old male patient presented with a large skeletal defect after osteomyelitis surgery. The treatment of choice for this case was reconstruction using a total humerus megaprosthesis.

Case Presentation: We report the case of a 63-year-old male with chronic osteomyelitis of the left femur, severe pain and bone deformation, the risk of amputation in this patient was very high. The patient underwent total femur replacement (TFR) with a modular mega-prosthesis.

Assessment of oral health in older adults by non-dental professional caregivers-development and validation of a photograph-supported oral health-related section for the interRAI suite of instruments.

Objectives: An optimized oral health-related section and a video training were developed and validated for the interRAI suite of instruments. The latter is completed by professional non-dental caregivers and used in more than 40 countries to assess care needs of older adults.

Methods: The optimized oral health-related section (ohr-interRAI) consists of nine items and a video training that were developed in consecutive phases.
