Introduction: Factors such as coronavirus neurotropism, which is associated with a massive increase in pro-inflammatory molecules and neuroglial reactivity, along with experiences of intensive therapy wards, fears of pandemic, and social restrictions, are pointed out to contribute to the occurrence of neuropsychiatric conditions.
Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the role of COVID-19 inflammation-related indices as potential markers predicting psychiatric complications in COVID-19.
Methods: A total of 177 individuals were examined, with 117 patients from a temporary infectious disease ward hospitalized due to COVID-19 forming the experimental group and 60 patients from the outpatient department showing signs of acute respiratory viral infection comprising the validation group.
This paper presents a novel approach leveraging Random Matrix Theory (RMT) to identify influential users and uncover the underlying dynamics within social media discourse networks. Focusing on the retweet network associated with the 2021 Iranian presidential election, our study reveals intriguing findings. RMT analysis unveils that power dynamics within both poles of the network do not conform to a "one-to-many" pattern, highlighting a select group of users wielding significant influence within their clusters and across the entire network.

The metabolic relationships of B vitamins determine the more frequent occurrence of poly-, rather than monovitamin deficiency. Since B vitamins play an important role in the processes of energy production and in the functioning of neurotransmitter systems, the first symptoms of such polyhypovitaminosis are signs of brain dysfunction: asthenia, depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders.

In financial crises, assets see a deep loss of value, and the financial markets experience liquidity shortages. Although they are not uncommon, they may cause by multiple contributing factors which makes them hard to study. To discover features of the financial network, the pairwise interaction of stocks has been considered in many pieces of research, but the existence of the strong correlation between stocks and their collective behavior in crisis made us address higher-order interactions.

Materials And Methods: We made the immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis of epiphysis tissues from autopsies of 25 men aged 32-44 with PCVP and metabolic syndrome (MS) who had died as a result of ischemic cardiomyopathy (IC) and 25 persons after the car accident as a control group. Then, 93 young men aged 35-44 with PCVP, metabolic syndrome, and depressive spectrum disorders (DSD) were divided into three groups: (1) standard therapy; (2) standard therapy and psychotherapy sessions; (3) standard therapy in combination with psychotherapeutic and psychophysiological visual and auditory correction sessions.
The article discusses the effects of thermal-force on the Panda-type optical fiber. The studies used a wide temperature range. The research used two thermal cycles with exposures to temperatures of 23, 60 and -60 °C.

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of low doses (25-75 mg/day) of quetiapine (Seroquel) in patients with bipolar affective disorders in a euthymic state with signs of impaired impulse control.
Material And Methods: The main criteria for patients' selection were as follows: both sex, diagnoses of bipolar affective disorders, remission (euthymic state), adult age (from 18 to 60 years old), stable basic therapy. The duration of the study was 6 weeks, a dose of quetiapine (Seroquel) varied from 25 to 75 mg.
Background: Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is one of the high-potential non-pharmacological methods for migraine treatment. The purpose of this study is to define the neuroimaging markers associated with rTMS therapy in patients with migraine based on data from functional MRI (fMRI).
Materials And Methods: A total of 19 patients with episodic migraine without aura underwent a 5-day course of rTMS of the fronto-temporo-parietal junction bilaterally, at 10 Hz frequency and 60% of motor threshold response of 900 pulses.

In this paper, we proposed an approach to study the strain response of polymer film samples under various temperature effects and note their corresponding effects. The advantages of the developed approach are determined by the fact that thin films of material are used as samples where it is possible to generate a sufficiently uniform temperature field in a wide range of temperature change rates. A dynamic mechanical analyzer was used for the experimental implementation of the above approach for two UV-curable polymers and one type of epoxy resin.

Methods: We comparatively measured the thalamus nuclei volumes of patients with remitting-relapsing (RRMS) and secondary-progressive (SPMS) phenotypes of multiple sclerosis and healthy control subjects (HC). The evaluation of neurological performance was based on the results of Expanded Disability Status Scale and Multiple Sclerosis Severity Scale.
A crisis in financial markets can be considered as a collective behaviour phenomenon. The collective behaviour is a complex behaviour which exists among a group of animals. The Vicsek model has been adapted to represent this complexity.

It was found that main characteristics of the compounds (shape of substance, color, IR absorption and photoluminescent spectra) have not changed.

The PL spectra contain both bands of metal-centered and ligand centred emission while X-ray excited compounds display only the bands of Ln3+ ions, the relative intensity of which differs from that in UV excited analogues. The RL intensity of all the studied complexes is about 300 times lower than that of PL.

Aim: To identify neuroplastic changes in the brain structures during treatment of traumatic axonotomy of the brachial plexus (the pathology of peripheral nervous system).
Material And Methods: MRI morphometry of white and grey matter was studied in 62 patients with traumatic axonotomy of the brachial plexus.
Results: There were correlations between the thickness of sensorimotor cortex, morphometric parameters (volume, diffusion, fractional anisotropy) of subcortical formations (corticospinal tracts, the forceps minor), severity of neurological deficit and dynamics of clinical course depending on the therapeutic strategy.

The aim of the study was to determine the quantitative content and correlation between metabolites in the core ischemic zone, the ischemic penumbra and the intact tissue of the opposite hemisphere in the acute stage of ischemic stroke using MR-spectroscopy. We studied 72 patients, including 37 patients (the main group) treated with the antioxidant mexidol (2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypiridine succinate) in addition to standard therapy and 35 patients who received standard therapy only. The severity of stroke was assessed using the NIHSS.

Galantamine dose gradually increase to maximum of 16 mg/day (8 weeks) before rTMSand after that we start rTMS for 10 consecutive days. Cognitive, neuropsychiatric and motor symptoms were assessed clinically at baseline and at end of 10 weeks combined therapy using the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), Freezing Of Gait (FOG), Clinical Gait And Balance Scale (GABS), Tinetti scale, the clock drawing test, the Frontal Assessment Battery (FAB), PDQ-39 and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI).

An intensified growth and development of the muscular membrane morphological structures, including its blood microcirculatory bed occurs from 3 up to 30 years of life. Their maximal growth is noted from 12 up to 30 years of age.

An increase in creatine phosphokinase (CPK) activity as well as a decrease in activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AAT) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were observed in monkey blood serum under conditions of experimental infection of the animals with dysentery. Contrary to the non-immunized animals, the activity of CPK was increased but the activities of AAT and ALT were unaltered in blood serum of the immunized monkeys. Estimation of the enzymatic activity might be used for diagnosis of experimental dysentery and streptococcal infection.
