Potentially Harmful Excipients: State of the Art for Oral Liquid Forms Used in Neonatology and Pediatrics Units.

The pediatric population exhibits an important age-dependent heterogeneity in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics parameters, resulting in differences in drug efficacy and toxicity compared to the adult population, particularly for neonates. Toxicity and efficacy divergences have been studied for active molecules, but the impact on the pharmacological parameters of excipients remains less well known. To fill this lack of knowledge, several initiatives have been started to gather information on the specific toxicity of excipients, such as the KIDS list or the STEP database.

Interprofessional Collaborative Clinical Practice in Medicine and Pharmacy: Measure of Student Perceptions Using the SPICE-R2F Instrument to Bridge Health-Care Policy and Education in France.

Background: Public health policies in France and the USA promote health professionals' collaborative practices in accordance with World Health Organization recommendations emphasizing the need to promote interprofessional education and training. To optimize alignment of health-care policy and education, a scientific evidence-based approach is required.

Methods: A French translation (SPICE-R2F) of the Student Perceptions of Interprofessional Clinical Education-Revised instrument, version 2 (SPICE-R2) was generated.

[Pediatric exposure to endocrine disruptors and carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances by pharmaceutical forms intended for the cutaneous route: Regulatory provisions in France, in Europe, and state of the art of scientific knowledge].

Objectives: The objective is to conduct a review of pediatric exposure to substances whose endocrine disrupting (ED), carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic (CMR) character has been confirmed or remains controversial, through their use in pharmaceutical forms intended for the cutaneous route, as well as regulatory measures diligent at the national and European levels.

Methods: A bibliographical search was carried out on the databases PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, supplemented by a search for recommendations from French and European authorities. References were selected following an assessment of their relevance to our topic.

[ISO 9001 quality approach in Sterilization Unit and developing the skills of agents: Contribution of a multi-support, transdisciplinary and multi-professional training plan].

Objectives: The Sterilization Unit of the Narbonne Hospital Center (France) has decided to embark on a process of NF EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification. The objective is to describe how the working group has appropriated the provisions relating to staff training in order to build a skills development plan for its Sterilization agents.

Methods: A multi-professional working group has been set up.
